Graham Wignall's Arsenal Report -
My Liverpool Home
To arrive in Liverpool two days before the Arsenal game was, to say at the least, very exciting! The atmosphere on the streets and in the pubs leading up to the game was fantastic and of course I got caught up in all of it! Read the full article!
Article by Toronto RED Brian Lewis on his attending this season's Derby Match!
Well, my first Merseyside Derby certainly proved to be a memorable one as the Reds hammered the Blues 3-0. I should go to these more often. Read the full Article!
Letters to the Toronto Branch on the launch of our new web site.
From Anne Williams -
Chair of the Hillsborough Justice Committee
Dear All,
Thank you for supporting the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, our group is made up of bereaved families survivors and football fans from all over the world our aim is to get JUSTICE for the 96 Liverpool fans who lost there lives at Hillsborough, without your support it would not be possible to fund the legal cases which are now pending.
96 Liverpool fans died when most of them could have been saved, the coroner imposed a 3.15pm cut off point at the inquests, the reason being that all the 96 would have been dead or brain dead so there was no point going into events after that time, the jury reached an accidental death verdict which let the police of the hook.
We are challenging the 3.15pm cut off point there is strong evidence that people were still alive after that time and where saveable.
We have never had an inquiry from 3.15pm if you look into the events after that time at 3.13pm the chief fire officer arrived at lepping lane with oxygen and crucial cutting gear, the police officer out side the ground sent them away, the police never implemented the major disaster plan and at 3.35.pm the police at the Pennistone lane end of the ground cordoned off all the ambulances and would not let them on the ground, they lost complete control.
The Liverpool fans were the ones left to see to dying and injured with no medical equipment at all, oxygen would have helped to save the lives of many fans. Justice is not just for the bereaved families who lost loved ones it is also for the survivors who many of them live Hillsborough every day, there the people who know the truth.I would like to thank on behalf of the H.J.C. Andrew Cashin for contacting the group and for sending the news letters.
We have just moved into a new shop right opposite the Liverpool football ground Kop end if any of you come over to England just call into the shop you are always welcome.Thank you once again on behalf of the H.J.C. for your support.
JUSTICE for the 96.
Kind Regards
Anne Williams
