Benitez: Crouch can move, Kewell is moving.

Rafa has hinted Peter Crouch can leave should the club receive £15m for the striker. Crouch has had limited first-team opportunities as Benitez has preferred to use Spaniard Torres - who has scored 32 goals so far this season - as a lone striker, with Steven Gerrard supporting from midfield.

Harry Kewell will leave in the summer after the Australian reportedly rejected a new deal on reduced wages. The 29-year-old winger's Liverpool career has been plagued by injury. He has made just 81 league appearances since his transfer from Leeds United in 2003.

"We have tried to come to an agreement with the player and his agent, but that has not been possible," said Benitez.

"Kewell will leave the club at the end of his contract."

Kewell: "The Return"?

Chronic injury-ridden winger Harry Kewell is closing in on a return to first-team football after a groin injury.

Kewell, 29, picked up the injury while playing for Australia in the Asian Cup in the summer and has not played for Rafael Benitez's side this season.

But Benitez said: "Harry is working really hard and next week he could be training with the first team.

"Harry is very important for us. A player with pace and ability who can score goals is always important."

Rafa considering Kewell?

Harry Kewell has given Rafa Benitez a Champions League final selection headache.

Liverpool will do battle with AC Milan in Athens next Wednesday in a repeat of their epic 2005 showdown.

And Aussie winger Kewell is now in the running to figure against the Rossoneri after impressing against Charlton on Sunday.
