Gerrard was in tremendous form for the match, executing superb passes that resulted in both first half goals. Gerrard also smashed in a penalty kick awarded to Peter Crouch in the second half. Ryan Babel put in a final goal when the Bolton keeper couldn't hold on to a Dirk Kuyt goal attempt.
