Uefa has revamped the Champions League today with the top three clubs in the Premier League qualifying for the group stages from 2009. The final has also been moved from being a mid-week match to a Saturday

Under the plans, the fourth-placed English side will now face a play-off against a team from another of Europe's leagues.
