Wigan 0-1 Liverpool

A brilliant individual goal from substitute Yossi Benayoun gave Liverpool a hard-earned victory against Wigan at the JJB Stadium on Saturday.

The game marked Benayoun's fifth appearance of the season.

"It's a dream for me to be at a big club and to fight for trophies.

"I knew before I came there would be big games I would sit out in the stand or on the bench.

"But I also know that when I get a chance I have to do my best, and that is what I am trying to do.

"We know there has been a lot of talk about the rotation, but we don't listen to what the press say, we listen to our manager and we respect him.

"We have a lot of players, so we have to be ready to be involved in the rotation - either to sit out or to play - and there is 100% belief in the manager.

"It's something the players at this club have been involved in for the last few years. We have to respect that and be ready to play at any time."
