Yossi Benayoun is hoping to secure a move to Liverpool.

The West Ham midfielder has agreed a new deal with the club, but Liverpool have mounted a bid for his services.

Because of Liverpool's interest, Benayoun's new contract remains unsigned.

The player's agent Ronen Katzav admits that Benayoun's future is still not decided.

'We are still waiting,' Katzav told skysports.com.

But Sven Goran Eriksson - now apparently headed to Man City -- has targeted Benayoun.
