Wales manager John Toshack says striker Craig Bellamy is the 'closest thing to Kevin Keegan' he has seen in 20 years.

Toshack, who forged a famous strike partnership with Keegan at Liverpool in the 1970s, made current Anfield star Bellamy his Wales captain last month.

The fit-again Ryan Giggs is restored as skipper against Liechtenstein, but Toshack praised Bellamy's efforts.

'I was very pleased with Craig's contribution, he is so like my old strike partner Keegan,' said Toshack.
