John Arne Riise has been ruled out of Liverpool's next two matches against PSV Eindhoven and Chelsea after suffering a reoccurrence of his ankle injury.

The Norwegian international was carried off the field during the 3-0 Merseyside derby defeat by Everton, and Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez confirmed it was the same injury that he got on the opening day of the season at Sheffield United.
