Fowler on Saturday's Match

Robbie Fowler is hoping Sven Goran Eriksson is brave enough to make the big decisions during England's quarter final clash with Portugal on Saturday.

'One of the most frustrating moments of my career came during a World Cup quarter-final and I just hope the lads out in Germany don't end up feeling the way I did four years ago after they face Portugal in Gelsenkirchen.

Had England beaten Brazil in the last eight in Shizuoka, there was a great chance of going on to win the World Cup.' [ more ]

Unfortunately, as we all know, things didn't go according to plan and it was with a whimper rather than a bang that we went out.
