Crouch frustrated by charge
Peter Crouch has revealed his frustration at England being labelled a long ball team simply because of his presence in the team.
The 6ft 7in Liverpool striker is set to play a more significant role in the tournament after the return home of Michael Owen following his knee ligament injury. But Crouch bristles at suggestions humping the ball in the air is the only tactic England are able to employ when he is in the side and insists he is more comfortable with the ball played into his feet.
