Craig Bellamy today agreed a four-year contract with Liverpool and immediately stressed that while joining the club is a dream come true, the real hard work starts now.

The Welsh international cut short a family holiday in Greece to fly back for talks with Reds boss Rafael Benitez on Wednesday and after completing a routine medical on Wednesday night, he will officially become a Liverpool player on July 1st.

Benitez is keen to find more firepower for his side as he tries to make them to genuine Premiership title challengers and Bellamy certainly fits the bill after an impressive season with Rovers in which he scored 17 times. [ More Detail ]
