Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse appeared to pave the way for a return to French football after admitting he does not get along with Reds manager Rafael Benitez.

The 24-year-old France international, currently preparing for the World Cup, claims to have spoken with three of Ligue 1's biggest clubs about a possible transfer.

Revealing the rift, Cisse said: "I'm happy at Liverpool. But there is only the manager that I don't like. It will be hard to stay with Liverpool, and I want to resolve this as quickly as possible, before the World Cup."

Speaking to reporters at France's World Cup training base at Clairefontaine, Cisse admitted he had already started looking for a new club.
